AIDCO RIBBED GENERAL PURPOSE BACKING PAD
These turbo hard backing pads are ideal for use with fibre discs attached to angle grinders or sanders. The hard nature of these backing pads delivers high edge strength for best results on flat surfaces and narrow edges. Ribbed backing pads have ventilation holes and a ribbed backing to allow for air to cool all parts disc, prolonging the life of the disc and vastly improving the performance.
The backing pad screws onto the spindle of the tool, and the sanding/fibre disc or other attachment is attached to the backing pad using a hook-and-loop or adhesive system. The backing pad helps to distribute the pressure from the tool evenly across the surface being worked on, which can help to prevent uneven wear or damage to the disc.
