We asked: “If you could have the perfect spray gun, what would it be like?” Our 3M™ Accuspray™ Spray Gun System with Standard PPS™ was the result: the only HVLP spray gun system that allows for professional-grade solvent-based or waterborne finish application with virtually no cleaning and no maintenance kits. This system features a lightweight, composite spray gun body that is molded in one piece, eliminating the complexity, wear and cleaning of small parts and pieces. It effortlessly accepts replaceable atomizing heads – these transparent nozzles can be reused 5-10 times and then simply removed and replaced. This affords the performance of a brand new spray gun, on demand and at a fraction of the price. Atomizing heads are available in a 1.4 mm size, ideal for sealers, primer surfacers, basecoats and topcoats; a 1.8 mm size for higher-viscosity materials such as primer and gel coats; and a 2.0 mm size for heavy-duty applications using fluids like adhesives, undercoats or industrial coatings. And fast, easy controls for fan diameter, fluid and air pressure allow for quick adjustment across jobs from spot repairs to full panel coverage requiring up to 12” vertical or horizontal spray patterns – one gun for a complete range of applications. 

Virtually No Cleaning Required
Very simply, you will never need to clean a spray gun body or a paint cup again. Our simple, durable composite one-piece spray gun body works with our 3M™ PPS™ Paint Preparation System. You simply place a disposable liner within a re-usable paint cup. Then mix the paint in the PPS™ liner, snap the disposable lid (with built-in filter) in place and attach the locking collar to complete the PPS™ System. With just a quick quarter-turn, the assembly easily attaches to the spray gun body. Once you’re finished spraying, simply remove the liner from the cup and discard it. It’s that simple.

The 3M™ PPS™ Advantage
This 3M™ PPS™ Paint Preparation System eliminates the inefficient process of mixing paint and other materials separately and transferring them through filters and other equipment where product gets left behind, unused. PPS™ eliminates the need for traditional mixing cups and paint strainers. Instead, paint and other materials are mixed and sprayed out of the same PPS™ liner with a lid and built-in filter. This system lets painters mix less paint, reduce their solvent usage by up to 70%, and spend less time cleaning spray guns and cups. All told, PPS™ is an all-in-one system for mixing/measuring, filtering, spraying (in any direction!) and the temporary protection of liquid coating materials for continued use.  All of this adds up to improved material usage and a very clear cost savings across your operation. The Accuspray™ Spray Gun System with Standard PPS™ includes a standard 22-oz. PPS™ cup, collar, liners, colored lids for easy fluid identification and sealing plugs for temporary protection.  Additional PPS™ cups and starter kits are available in a comprehensive range of sizes including 28 oz., a “midi” 13.5-oz. size and a “micro” 3-oz. cup ideal for quick spot repairs.
